2012 Voice
Hispanics must cultivate economic growth for America. We must unite, empower and expand our authentic voice and live our cultural values.
The 2012 election will be a crucial moment for Hispanics in America. We can no longer let others define our community and our future – we must step forward and define ourselves in our own authentic voice.
On January 11, 2012, the Center for Hispanic Leadership launched the 2012 Hispanic Voice Town Hall Tour. We'll travel across America inviting community leaders to join open forums to discuss how Hispanics can best contribute to the future of America. The tour will run through the 2012 elections, reminding Hispanics that we have a responsibility to vote if we want our voices to be heard.
These town hall meetings will build on the roadmap that CHL has created, turning it into an actionable agenda that can be carried out at the local, state, and national levels.
Join with us today to create the future of Hispanics in America
The Center for Hispanic Leadership formed this non-partisan initiative to help Hispanics understand the responsibility we have to make our authentic voices heard in business and society in order to cultivate sustainable economic prosperity in America.

Hispanics, like other multicultural groups, think differently about their lifestyles, their careers and their families. America must be reintroduced to its original values the “immigrant perspective” that helped create the foundation for prosperity in this country.

Hispanics, Asians and all immigrant groups must help reintroduce America to its original value system that quickly became extinct when greed, distrust and selfishness got in the way of our land of opportunity.
Our goals are:
Define an agenda for Hispanics in America to help us better understand why we must play a more active and influential role in the reinvention of America.
Educate the Rest of America about the Hispanic community and the value we represent as leaders and citizens to help renew foundational values, cultivate economic growth and reclaim America's global competitiveness.
Encourage Hispanics in America to formally engage will other minority communities to find common purpose through our immigrant perspective.
Empower Hispanics in America to own their vote by recognizing that our voice matters to potentially influence the future of America. Increase Latino voter turnout by helping them understand that their vote has value and that it greatly matters.

At our town hall meetings, we will discuss and refine the agenda we've developed to solidify our community's influence. We will strengthen the Hispanic community by taking inward discussions and bringing them outwardly to change the perception of the Hispanic brand in America. We will inspire Hispanic youth to achieve by giving them a reason to embrace education and giving them the tools to accept their responsibility for building America's future. We'll encourage corporations to get involved in this conversation – and they'll benefit, too, by increasing their market share among a community with growing purchasing power. We'll teach non-Hispanics to value our brand, and connect with other minority communities to lead a broader movement.

Sponsoring this town hall tour will win your organization media attention and help you build a relationship with the Hispanic community. Sponsoring this tour also links your organization's brand to positive values like empowerment and leadership.
