About CHL
CHL is the only Hispanic talent and business development institute of its kind. CHL is designed to create awareness of Hispanic leadership in today's fiercely competitive global marketplace.
CHL is pleased to announce the Hispanic Leadership Certification Program, an exclusive new program for Hispanic executives and MBA-level students that will provide them with c-suite level training and preparation for the enhancement of their careers, the businesses they serve, and the communities of which they are part. This program is the first of its kind in the United States. It seeks to help talented Hispanic executives and rising stars find their authentic leadership voices and put them to use in bringing growth and innovation to their organizations. It also seeks to help organizations empower and expand the influence of their Hispanic employees by providing them with the tools they need to become effective corporate citizens.
In a recent Pew Hispanic Center survey, 74% of Latinos polled said they either didn't know of a national Hispanic leader or thought there wasn't one. Now that Hispanics represent the majority-minority, their leadership must be developed with mentoring, coaching, and educational tools that address the particular needs of Hispanics in the workplace.
CHL's mission is to empower the professional growth and talent development of Hispanic employees through the use of culturally tailored curriculum that helps participants see the potential for their unique capabilities to promote workplace innovation, growth, and expansion. Our goal is to consult organizations on how to enable business growth by developing Hispanic talent and to help them capitalize on the following time-sensitive emerging trends:
| • | Hispanic population in the US: 50.5 M (download 2010 Census report) | |
| • | Estimated Hispanic purchasing power will be $1.2 trillion in 2012 | |
| • | Hispanics represent the fastest-growing sector of entrepreneurs in the United States | |

“The Center for Hispanic Leadership approach to talent and business development is based on the idea that these two disciplines – building leaders and building brands – are interconnected and dependent on each other.”

| "I was skeptical at first because I was not sure if my training participation was just part of an inclusion plan. After the program, I am a believer and will forever serve as an advocate for the CHL message. I am sincerely grateful to my employer for encouraging me to be my authentic self in the workplace." |
